History Orthez is a medieval capital where you can discover its extensive historical heritage. The Pont Vieux spans the gave de Pau and apermits you to get to attractive alleys. You can't go through the former city of Prince Fébus without visiting the Tour Moncade built in the XIIIth century and the Maison Jeanne d'Albret built in the XVth century. |

Festivities The Féria d'Orthez is an inevitable event in Orthez. It takes place the last week end of July with various concerts in the streets, parades, bodegas, courses landaises (games with calfskins) and corridas... and its funfair. |
